while "surge" hasn't been around in over 10 years, I thought the Vault drink was pretty much the same damn thing just renamed and retitled as a energy drink since Surge would definitely pack a big caffeine punch. I am glad you said that. I have been saying that for years and no one agrees. just outta curiosity , do you think sierra mist tastes just like slice??

Ugh... going on 48. I remember rotary phones. We still have a working rotary phone original to the house. It's wired into the wall, and for some reason, works when the power is out. That'd be because the phone doesn't use electricty. We had a rotary phone in a house I lived in as a kid. Sucks when you had to deal with touchtone only services.

Fun fact: I have a t-shirt that reads "be kind, rewind," and sometimes I get kids my own age asking what it means. Which is pretty sad, considering I'm 17.

I don't think I ever had Surge but I've heard of a lot of comparisons between that and Vault.
I mean... they both basically mean the same thing, even.

Back in 2003 I lived in a house that had a rotary phone in a small shack in the back yard. It's one of the more unconventional features present in a house I've lived in.

If the phone company has power they can send enough juice to power a rotary phone and carry the signal at the same time.

And I felt guilty about having the hots for Kimberly, the Pink Power Ranger. I certainly don't. Mmm, Amy Jo Johnson. Oh my gosh, I remember Slice! As do I. T'was my favorite soft drink, while it lasted.

I always got hit with nostalgia about the 90s, and how awesome it was. But then I remember all the crappy things. Like waiting almost an hour to download a 1MB file, only to lose it all when call waiting boots me off. FM(Past)L.

I'm forty, bloody hell. I remember dissing Nirvana as being newfangled whiny crap, I actually got attacked by a female Nirvana fan back when they were having a candlelit vigil for Kurt Cobain on the steps of Flinders Street Station, some fan asked me to have a drink for Kurt the young lady wasn't too happy about my response.
Reckon she'd be about 35 now.
