A couple other things to make you feel old: Jurassic Park came out 18 years ago. Titanic came out 14 years ago. Kathie Lee Gifford quit 'Live with Regis and Kathie Lee' 11 years ago. Something we're all aware of, but thinking about it really makes me feel old: 9/11 happened a decade ago. Still feels like it was only a few years ago. And the fact that I was in high school (my first year of it, but still) a decade ago also makes me feel rather old. Classic sitcom channels are playing Fresh Prince, Home Improvement and Family Matters. The X-Files has been off the air for 9 years, and made its debut 18 years ago. Star Trek: TNG has been off the air for 17 years, and the same amount of time has passed since the first TNG movie came out, while the latest TNG flick ("Nemesis") came out 9 years ago; DS9 has been off the air for 12 years; Voyager finished 10 years ago. The TV show "ReBoot", the first 100% computer generated full-length cartoon, came on the air 17 years ago. I don't know if it was popular outside of Canada, but I remember watching it when it first came out. "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" (American) came on the air 18 years ago, and ended 16 years ago. The film was released 16 years ago. Jonathan Taylor Thomas (JTT) is 30. He doesn't look it, though: laughing-gas-online.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/JTT.jpgI'd continue, but I need to put my dentures in and then yell at some kids to get off my lawn.

Pfft...starting high school a decade ago? Try graduating, serving in the military, and getting a tech school degree in aircraft sheetmetal a decade ago.

You did all of that in one year?
I don't remember a lot of stuff on the list, being sheltered from "the ebil world" and all. But the old floppy disk games- we had a Tandy until I was around 9 or so, and all it was good for was those games. There was a truck driving one, and a castle one where you had to go around collecting relics and stuff. So much fun. I also remember once, when I was 11, I was hanging out at the daycare where my mom worked, and one of the computers froze. The worker was maybe in her 20s and she hadn't the first clue what to do, so she put an out-of-order sign on it. I looked at it, and it just needed restarted. When she realized I'd fixed it she looked at me like I had two heads or something. It's funny how much that sort of thing's changed.
You know what really made me start to feel old, though, was when I was talking to some 5th graders, and I mentioned 9/11, and none of them knew what I was talking about.

I think the second oldest I have ever felt was when I overheard some kids talking about the 5ive cover of Queen's "We will rock you" and wondering who the old guys in the clip were?
Realising just now that that occured about 11 years ago is probably the oldest I have ever felt.

Does anyone else remember staying up late on Fridays to watch Headbanger's Ball? *wistful sigh*My mother wouldn't let me watch MTV. But once as a kid, I snuck a peek and saw the music video for "King of Wishful Thinking." I was halfway through that one song with the line "Bring over some of your old Motown records" when I was caught. Damn, I must have been 3 or 4 when that happened. ETA: Damn, JTT is smokin'. And he still has that adorable smirk! *granny hands*

Would it make anyone here feel old if I told you that the first Toy Story came out when I was 2 years old?
And that graph LH posted apparently thinks I'm 26. Why the fuck would I get nostalgic over Revenge of the Sith? I call bullshit.
