I loved that show when it came out. Negaduck was definitely cool too, as were many of the villains really.
[Edited to fix typo.]

This thread made me think of the first cordless phone we got. That thing fascinated me, and it even had an answering machine. I played with it for days on end.

OK. I was talking to some co-workers today about McDonald's. I remember when Big Macs were introduced.
I feel as old as dirt...

Try thinking of other items that were basically "here today, gone later today". Do you remember the McDLT? I do.

I can't hear too well right now.

This made me feel kinda old: The girl I aide for was watching the movie "Let Me In" (remake of "Let the Right One In") the other day, and she commented, "Notice how a lot of movies rip off Buffy?" I asked what she meant, and she says, "Well, like making it so that vampires have to ask your permission to enter before they come in your home." She's 17. Of course, our car (one car back in those days) was an old Malibu and had an AM/FM radio. I remember my friend's mom drove this dinky little Hyundai Pony -- y'know, the ones that always had huge chunks of rust along the doors? I don't even know if it had a tape player in it... "Let’s get dangerous!" +100 "ZOMG I'M OLD!" points if you get it. Darkwing Duck! I used to love that show.

I mean, it's one thing not to know that that sort of restriction on vampires has existed to some degree almost since vampires first stalked through campfire tales in ancient pagan times. It's quite another to think that that only existed during your currently-short lifetime. Hell, the first Fright Night gave the vampiric Big Bad that same restriction, and that movie was released in 1985, seven years before Sarah Michelle Gellar picked up a wooden stake. *coughEIGHT-TRACKScough*

I miss the styrofoam containers. It was easier to get one's food from them when you were driving.

I remember when we still had K-Mart in Canada. The fact that it's already been 13 years since they pulled out kind of makes me feel old.

My mother wouldn't let me watch MTV. But once as a kid, I snuck a peek and saw the music video for "King of Wishful Thinking." I was halfway through that one song with the line "Bring over some of your old Motown records" when I was caught. Damn, I must have been 3 or 4 when that happened. ETA: Damn, JTT is smokin'. And he still has that adorable smirk! *granny hands* I hope you mean grabby hands. Otherwise... creepy. I do. I also despise autocorrect.

I still remember the first CD I ever bought: "Dance Mix 95". The first CD that was purchased for me was the Sharon, Lois, and Brahm birthday album. I was 5.
