He that lives by the sword... would not wish to die any other way gets shot by he that doesn't. Fixed. ;D

Eh. So far I've got the knife next to me but not unsheathed. Doing good so far. Keep it up, I know it's hard and the temptation is strong but if you can try and distract yourself. I've been having temptations and the only thing that is stopping me is that I have no money for gauze and alcohol. Yeah I know it's strange but that's the truth. I have plenty of that. Enough to disinfect the blade going in and out and to wrap if need be. It's still sheathed though even though the urge to make it a nice '5' is getting stronger. *shrugs*

Well just try and be strong, and if you do relapse, don't think of it as a failure. We all fall sometimes.

Shane, I know it's tempting (been there, done that, all I got were these lousy scars) but stay strong.

Well. I didn't relapse and I can look at my knife without feeling like I need to use it. ;D

It's really unsportsmanlike to bring a gun to a sword fight. It's really unwise to bring a sword to a gun fight. Especially if that gun is a shotgun.

Well. I didn't relapse and I can look at my knife without feeling like I need to use it. ;D Yay! Go Shane! When I look at my swords I always feel the need to use them. Not on myself though. Speaking of which... Not if your armor is capable of protecting you very effectively from gunshots. Then you can sword all you want. I daydream about building a medieval style suit of armor out of kevlar and high strength steel (maybe titanium). Aaaaaanyway, just so I'm not derailing the thread too much: The past couple days I forgot to take my depression meds. A day or two off of them doesn't affect my mood much, but it does affect my dreams. If I don't take my meds, I get really vivid, powerful, often scary and/or disturbing dreams. That happened and it was bad enough to disrupt my sleep. *yawn*

It's really unsportsmanlike to bring a gun to a sword fight. Not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

Some of the side effects for my medication are weird. They tend to happen either at night or at work. I randomly got really nervous and stressed because of my medical bracelet (I'm not used to wearing it) and couldn't get to sleep without pills. I also started randomly shaking like mad at work today, but I thankfully wasn't decorating a cake. XD I don't know if it's early enough to judge, but I feel like everything is starting to go right. <3 My impulse buying has calmed down (I did buy my boyfriend and I some itunes giftcards, though it was only 10 bucks each), my work has gotten faster, neater, and more organized, I'm better behaved, and my attention span has focused wonderfully! I think this pill is the best thing that has happened to me. <3
