I got the crap beat out of me more than once, plus that's where I got "scared straight" and became a born-again fundie myself. Had I not gone there and gotten secular counseling it would have saved me a lot of wasted years and made my quality of life even to the present, much higher. |

As far as the transporting, aren't there laws about someone who isn't a guardian transporting the child over state lines, let alone to another country? I assume this is reasoned with, "They have your guardian's permission." |

I did think Nazis though, because I get the specific vibe that the reason that some of this goes on isn't because they have some delusion that they're helping, but rather that they know they have absolute power & they're abusing the shit out of it for their own amusement.
Honestly, it might be counter-intuitive, but the kidnapping is what needs targeted first. That will severely cut down on kids being taken to these child torture facilities both in & out of the US. As far as the outside of the US goes, is there much you can do if the other country won't cooperate with you?

I forgot where the link was, but I had heard of a camp called "Tranquility Bay" some time ago when I read a news report that said it was shut down by authorities in Jamaica where it was located. At the time I thought that it was just an isolated incident, but looking through that site just now, I learned that It was owned by this same organization. The Jamaica camp was where the kids in the other camps were threatened to be sent to if they didn't cooperate with the staff. It was probably the worst of the bunch. One line I clearly remember though, was that the kids who threw up during physical activities were restrained by the guards and forced to eat their own vomit. That's the kind of people we're dealing with here. I almost want to say that this was more cruel than Nazi concentration camp. Torture is the only accurate descriptor for this. |

Also, evacuate kids beforehand. A definite must.

The people running these camps would make Himmler proud. And why doesn't the US government do something? Sure, children are considered the property of their parents, but these are US citizens being taken out of the country and are being subjected to abuse (putting it lightly). Unless people don't mind children having the same rights they did in Rome or Tenochtitlan.
