I dunno, I just repost what I think is rage-inducing. Like No one stopped to think for a minute when this was made. First of all, in this economic country, fridges are not a luxury, they are a necessity. Food spoils. Consequently, on the food stamp system, you need to store food for at least longer than a day. Ergo, you need a fridge. Comparing it to the poor in Africa who don't have fridges, yes, no one is saying that America's poor are the worst off in the world (except the people mocking Democrats for saying so when they haven't) but you can't pretend things are peachy-keen just because someone else has it worse. Finally, they've completely forgotten about the existence of these little things called loans. Get a loan for a fridge and then spend the rest of your life trying to make ends meet because, you know, you need some place to store the very source of your life so that it doesn't go bad and wastes even more money that you don't have.

Loans? The vast majority of apartments have a fridge in them.

They also have ovens and stoves and bedrooms and bathrooms. It's almost like you could live in an apartment in exchange for a monthly fee.

For the record, my apartment a few years back didn't have a dishwasher. Had to do everything by hand. And the fridge was tiny. Thank fuck for quick and dirty casseroles, and innovative uses for ramen noodles.

If a place doesn't provide a stove/oven and fridge avoid it. Not every apartment will have a dishwasher or washer and dryer in the apartment.

Right, I remember the school lunch thing. Limbaugh hates the military* and is anti-American.
*The military is the reason we have a school lunch program because they were sick and tired of malnourished recruits.

In that case, why do we feed ALL the kids, hmm? Why not just feed the ones we're going to recruit?
