Probably because $250k/year is in the top 1.5% ( source). I'd say a more reasonable cut-off for defining upper class would either be the top ~16% at 75k/year, or the top ~27% at 75k/year, depending on how many levels of middle class one wishes to have. It's also good to keep in mind with this that the national median household income is $44,389/year. So yeah, his after-all-expenses money happens to be the combined pre-tax-or-expenses income of 9 households.

I must've gotten my history wrong. AFAIK Clinton's impeachment trial failed.

I must've gotten my history wrong. AFAIK Clinton's impeachment trial failed. Impeachment is the act of bringing an official to trial. As such, Clinton was impeached, but he was not removed from office. That is still blatantly malicious well-poisoning they got going on there.

I would agree that there is a minor bit of "Really, Bill? Really?" to Ex-President Clinton calling someone else an embarrassment to the country, it doesn't make him any less correct or the headline any less stupid.

Impeachment is merely the charges, which were brought against President Clinton. To be removed from office you must be convicted of the charges through a trial in the House, but the Republicans chose to not call a trial when they did the math and figured out they didn't have the votes to pull off such partisan bullshit.

Why do I get the feeling that earning more than $250,000 puts you firmly at "upper class"? Unless you're in Foxland. I kind of wish I lived there. Where a family of four can live on a single breadwinner making 4 bucks an hour, and America has the best health care in the world.
