Ever been to Subway? They use sliced meat, cheese, and bread that's baked right freaking there. I'm really not sure how anything there counts as not being "real food" The meat's always slimy and suspect, they push American "cheese," which should never EVER be considered a food, and the bread isn't really baked so much as thawed on the premises. They are, however, less bad than most of the crap on that list. (disclaimer: I like several of "that crap" on the list. I'm pretty sure the chicken sammich I had six weeks ago at BK is still obstructing my bowels) Allow me to disgust you all. Footlong Veggie on whole wheat with banana peppers, jalapenos and chipotle sauce. And pack it like a suitcase with everything. I can even overlook the process cheese.

You know, McDonald's gets a lot of flak for "low quality food", but the honest truth is that unless the packaging was lying (which would cause serious legal issues), they use 100% USDA Grade A beef in their burgers, with the fairly standard 27% fat content for ground beef. I know, I worked there.
Yes, it shows up already in patty form, frozen. That doesn't change the fact that it's probably the exact same meat you make your hamburgers out of at home. Is it the healthiest or tastiest stuff in the world? Hell no, it's a fast food burger that costs less a dollar. But it's no worse than pretty much any other burger on the planet.
