How is environmental law against the Constitution? I don't have a fucking idea. I see nothing in the the Bill of Rights that says, "The right of the people to take their boats wherever they want, and by the way, fuck those manatees." It's the "pursuit of happiness." While not strictly the Constitution, it might as well be and really, how else do you expect me to get an erection if I'm not fapping to the harmless creatures I just killed?

people are part of nature, foos.
And apparently these people believe that god literally forbids anybody being made to at least pretend to have a little fucking social responsibility.

These are the people who do not think of humans as animals, but as something above animals. And I used to believe that too. And I still can't comprehend how they can think like that!

I assume you mean fapping with.

Fapping to? I assume you mean fapping with. Well, no. I meant literally standing over the corpses of the species I have all but obliterated, picturing the cries of the young.... Oh yeah.

You're misinterpreting it.
It clearly meant fuck nature.

But didn't your bible say to take care of nature? Jesus is gonna return any day now, so it doesn't matter what we do to the Earth. When He returns the Earth will be made perfect and all the damage we do will be undone. Or so the excuse goes.

The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were written before we knew a fuck of a lot about environmental science. As was, coincidentally, the Bible - and yet reading the Bible properly and not just thinking it says whatever you agree with does indeed give a clear directive to look after Earth.
But this - more so than evolution even! - is a point where these fuckwits think science is a democracy. Environmental science isn't going to change just because enough people shout loudly enough. Why is this a political issue to begin with?

It's a political issue because of two reasons:
-Republicans are mainly on the side of corporations. So they don't like it when environmental laws are made that put pressure on corporations that pollute and destroy the environment. -Religion. Repubs are mostly religious people, and they believe it's stupid to protect the world since Jesus is just going to come and take them all away.

You cannot elevate nature above people.
As a matter of fact, there are very few things that I can't elevate above people.

You have to elevate them at least a bit. If you don't, their necks don't snap when they drop and they end up strangling to death, which is cruel.
