Today, when driving home from work, I realized that I miss sun. Like, what the F ? Me missing sun, as if I'd like to spend some time outside and enjoy it? *sigh*
I hate working several nights on a row and it really annoys me how the lists have been made for me. My hours... suck. Yes, I still get enough of them to feel slightly happier on pay days, but working 7 "days" in a row totally ruins the several days off that I'm about to have.
Sun, I miss you, and I'm really sorry about the things I said about you during the summer. Please come back and let's just forget this "winter"-thing. We don't need it now, do we?

One customer told me that he had changed the place where he eats his lunch because I changed my working location (I has a fan!). He was also sorry that I'm already married!
Compliments are really hard to come by and I'm definitely taking this as one (or many, it was long discussion...) And yes, he brightened my chaotic day a bit, not an easy task at tuesdays x)

Blue band-aids and how there never seem to be proper sized ones! If I really have to use the blue ones, could someone PLEASE order them more often!
And why does everything seem to fall apart, run out and get broken, when you're alone at work and the line is 20 people long?

So it been 10 years already... wow. Time really does go fast when one get older. I remember being at home and doing my homework and just checking what was on tv, when live broadcast caught my eye. I had just texted a friend about it, when the first tower collapsed. I remember being upset, and fearing that all hell was going to break loose around the world.
Next day, on the other hand, when our class was visiting near by militarybase, I was readily joking with the guys about hijacking the plane during the small tour that we were about to have above the nearest few cities (right next teachers who were discussing with our pilots and guide, who surely heard us...) We had that flight. We laughed when we went past "good places to hit with plane" pointing at them. *sigh* I still don't know what to think about it.

In many European countries, teaching of religion is an option. Only in Slovakia and Poland is it compulsary, with Poland gradually getting more secular and slowly prospering as a result. If you want religion taught - go to an intercoursing church! Unfortunately in Poland, the church virtually runs one of the national TV stations (TVP2) and to watch that crap on a Sunday is brainwashing to the nth degree. Well, it's not always optional in other countries either (for example Finland), if you happen to be member of the state church or other recocnized religious group. And yes, basically you are a member (of the state churc at least) if your mother was/is member and you haven't resigned, which you can't do on your own before you turn 18... If you're lucky and your not going to "evangelic-lutheran" or eastern-orthodox" lessons (or new-comer religions like islam, catholism, sikh and so on) you basicly have "ethics" which can be great or really suck if your teacher in that happens to be a fundie. From my experience, it is easier to get good grades on religious studies rather that ethics, because you don't need to have your own opinions on the matters (not even on the 9th grade when we went through world religions [with a non-theistic home ec teacher x) ] and made huge presentations about your choise of religion) and keep explaining them on the exams. Oh how I hated those non-stopping discussions about ethics of eating chickens (or other animals) or is there really any point to have family if you don't have religion that makes it kinda mandatory... n

My feet. They ache. And yes, I have to stand (If I'm not running/walking somewhere/carrying stuff around) at work. And all I can do is reming myself, why I'm doing it to keep my motivation somewhere above the zero. But it doesn't help with the feeling. And the fact that after a drive back home I usually need to sit 5-10 minutes in car trying to convince myself, that sooner I get out car and get in, the sooner it'll stop (I know it doesn't).
Please let the weekend come soon!

I clicked. But didn't bother to put sounds on ._. And what I saw... I just don't know if I should laugh at her or weep for the sake of the human kind Is that what she's doing with her hair/legs/hands supposed to be "sexy" somehow or is she having some sort of seizures?

Freaking Mid-Summer! Makes whole country and it's inhabitants go crazy! Every customer was on good mood and all wishing happy Mid-Summer all over the place. And you know, like looking happy! Un-heard of! And the bad weather we're having? No problem, just goes as a natural, traditional thing (can't wait to burn sausages and other stuff on grill while holding umbrella 'till I'm too drunk to care about getting wet...). And talk about traditions! Few men actually flirted with me, WTF ! And this 50 something man just kept talking and talking and talking to me how I should get all naked and run though a misty field to find a man... err.. Hello?! Oh, and the working place. Every place full of goods coming in for the long weekend, everyone is running and doing 3 things at the same time and still it felt like nothing got done in time even with extra staff at work *sigh* but strangely everyone was ... happy. I just don't get it. (Yes, for some strange reason I was happy at work too ) And I got free beer.

Weird people who call you by your first name and keep staring at you. Yes, the stalkie-guy is still at it and it makes me nervous at work (night shift and all that shit, you know).
Oh, and not being able to sleep. I need my sleep, but at the moment it is too damn hot to sleep. *goes to corner to cry*

Waking up at 3am and feeling really energetic and all that. ยด I really would need to sleep, but I can't and all that energy goes to waste now as I really can't do the things that would need doing properly (and I haven't had energy to do lately) like laundry, dishes and vacuuming. All I was able to do was sorting the laundy to the point I ran out of Ikea bags (smaller ones match the capacity of our washer and bigger ones match the washing machine at the basement) and I do have many of them. Oh yeah. And my feet. Aching like hell. Mostly just the heels. Not fun, as I'd need to start walking around again (just to lose "some" weight). It's almost making me want to quit my job, because I know it is work related

So... was it 6pm on every timezone or what? Going to be less crazy (most of the difficult-on-purpose customers there seem to be either drunk or wearing a cross) people then at work the => easier night. \o/
...We'll see about that in bit over six hours, but I'm not having my hopes too high, though.

I've been waiting for my payslip to come (yes, the most positive aspect of my job, which I've been hating for a last week or so as it seems I might have a stalker among our customers...) and tadaa! I just receives it with all the other mail (it was supposed to arrive yesterday, though) and either I'm still sleeping or there is something wrong with the reality, but I got a raise I knew, that we were supposed to get like 1 cent more to our evening bonus and 2 cents to our night bonus, but getting 12 cents added to my personal hourly wage was total surprise ^___^ So, I guess it is time to thank a workers union that I'm not even a member of and local laws making this possible Oh, and I also got paid (in advance) for my summer vacation (4 awesome days this year (plus nicely places normal off-days around it), and if I am to continue there, next year it should be 24 days)
