Apparently this man's strength is ignorance. I wonder how many of those dislikes are actually from other countries. If you click on the bar graph button, cornered by the dis/like bar and the view count, it'll show you some general information on who viewed the video and where, including what countries. Edit: Oh, it would appear this is my 300th post, [insert 300's "This is Sparta!" meme here.]

What's really goofy is the contrast between the setting/mood of Perry's video & Perry's comments. You have this nice outdoorsy setting, Perry calmly speaking in uplifting fashion with soothy, schmalzy, "uplifting & inspirational"-type music, no trashy, sensationalistic images or bombast......juxtaposed with the pure slimy evil of the words & message spewing from his facial orfice of doom! It's like a campaign ad version of "lyrical dissonance".

Heh. He marked all the comments on his account as spam, and now has chosen to review any comments before they are posted.

It says nothing about where the likes and dislikes came from.

But givin' how infamous the video is, I think it's safe to assume whomever views the video'll probably give it a dislike rating.

Could it be? Has the tide truly turned? Is this the begining of the end for populist, lowest common denominator politics? Dare we hope?

Could it be? Has the tide truly turned? Is this the begining of the end for populist, lowest common denominator politics? Dare we hope? The jaded, bitter part of me says "don't hold your breath" The tiny, remaining optimist in me says "let's cross our fingers"

Heh. He marked all the comments on his account as spam, and now has chosen to review any comments before they are posted. Well, he can do that, for all the good it'll do him. WE can keep posting. They may not appear on his page anymore, but he's STILL gonna see them. They all appear in his email account for review, remember? Each one a testimate to how much he is hated.

Does anyone actually know the rationale for the prohibition on wearing clothes of mixed fabric? It seems like a completely arbitrary rule, even more so than the dietary laws. Seriously, what were they thinking? There's probably some cultural factor here that's been lost to time.

Oh wow, according to Think Progress, the music featured in Mr. Perry's ad was inspired (though, not necessarily created) by Aaron Copland, a gay composer. thinkprogress.org/lgbt/2011/12/12/386532/rick-perry-gay-ad-aaron-copland/Does anyone actually know the rationale for the prohibition on wearing clothes of mixed fabric? Rational, in the Bible? Oh you silly billy, if the Bible made sense, FSTDT might not have existed.
