I don't know if you'd want a classic game, but I love Thief and Thief 2. Highly recommended!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=686k9qcmzkwListen to the Rain - By Enya The song is about the sky crying, even though its sad, its tears won't fall forever. Its about hope during sadness, at least thats how I perceive it. I really like Enya

Hey everyone,
(I hope I'm posting this in the right place)
Earlier I saw a documentary on Atheism on PBS. I was wondering if any of you know/could recommend any documentaries of similar interest. I have seen Religulous and I don't know if Zeitgeist would count.
Thanks,
-hc

-They pray to Saints and the Virgin Mary as well as God. -They believe in doing good works to get into Heaven. See any Jack Chick tract for details. -The Catholic Church is a hierarchical system with the Pope leading. Fanatical Protestants see the Pope as a substitute for God (for Catholics) or the anti-Christ. -They need some organization to call the "Whore of Babylon" so who better than the Catholic Church. Yes, I would classify Catholics as polytheistic. But I'd say the same thing about all of Christianity with the whole stupid "Three in One" God thingy. That's called a polymorphic monotheism. Also to add to that, there are the giants that impregnated human women who gave birth to demi-gods.

[quote author=lonelocust board=rp thread=1421 post=46526 The Catholics, however, are not really the first Christians, though they are the oldest continuous Christian tradition. There were (probably) early Jewish Christians, some older Gnostic Christians, and most likely some completely lost traditions. The idea of Catholicism is completely meaningless before Constantine and largely meaningless before the first Council of Nicea, which specifically rejected the other contemporary Christian sects.[/quote]
That makes sense. It wasn't until Constantine that Christianity grew in power. I guess explains why they (other denominations) still accept the chosen canoninical books. The attitude seems to come from bickering about the way the religion is practiced.

I've been wondering why there is so much anti-Catholic attitude among non-Catholic Christians.
What is the biggest gripe they have with Catholics? Is it the selling of indulgences back in the day?
Weren't the Catholics the first Christians? They chose which biblical books were canon and which were apocrypha. How come no one questioned the selection of books?
