When the fuck did this neanderthal come back? When I invoked his name in another thread. Please, forgive me. Or praise me, whichever you think is more appropriate.

Well this is AA. The genius who said he wouldn't call the police to help a rape victim. He did what now? Yeah no police. He said he would swoop in and totally use his bro kungfu to stop any rapist (weapons or no because BROFORCE POWERZ ACTIVATE!) and then the chick would be all "OMFG yay" and she would be totally ok with not prosecuting the rapist (and/or having him run free) because cops R bad bro. Also if one of his bros were beating or raping chicks he would totally ask his bro to stop and that would solve the problem. He would be all "Dude…not cool."

Also he likes to cite Alex Jones. Also any cops prosecuted for corruption are really just a government conspiracy to keep the masses complacent. Also 9/11 was an inside job.

Excellent! It's hard to imagine better news for the citizens and communities in Kansas. If this trend actually holds, I would seriously consider moving there. The only police force in the country with the right idea. Please let this spread. ...You say completely ignoring the not-prosecuting-domestic-abuse. After all of that shit you recently raised about supporting peoples' rights, you're not big on the right to safety? I'm more stoked about the elimination of misdemeanors. The DV thing is sticky at best, but keep in mind that safety is relative. Quite frankly anything that limits police power IMHO will ultimately have the effect of increasing everyone's safety in the long run. Domestic abuse is horrible, and I'm not saying it should be tolerated, but consider the fact that it's not exactly effectively or ethically enforced as is. An overwhelming number of abused women are married to police officers and they have no recourse in any circumstance really, in many cases even not involving fellow cops it's ignored anyway, and when it is enforced, it's often with excessive brutality, or cops come busting into the wrong house and kill dogs/children/innocent old people etc. If there was some magical way to prevent or eliminate DV I'd be all for it. In the mean time, this very well may be the best of two bad options. I'm also pretty damn sure I never said that I wouldn't call the cops to prevent a rape. It WOULD be an extreme last resort, but if there was no way I could take care of it myself (ex. the guy is huge, has a weapon, or multiple friends etc.) I would just take the pussy way out and call the cops. I'm not an anarchist, and I strongly feel that things like rape and murder should be punished severely. I sure as fuck wouldn't just walk by and let it happen, which is what seems to be implied here.

And when you got yourself killed, the rapist would then be more likely to kill the person he/she's raping simply because he/she is now a witness to manslaughter.
So, really, you'd be doing no one any favors. Let the trained professionals handle the situation. That's what they're there for.

AA, in order for a rapist to be punished, one needs to call the police and report the crime.

So the obvious solution is to just not enforce it at all! You're a genius!
Yeah. It would be a damn shame if you did the smart thing & alerted the organized group of professionals about the dangerous criminal & possible victim before you went all Internet Tough Guy & got your dumb ass killed.
And I don't just mean police. 9-1-1 would alert the paremedics, too.
Surely your head isn't so far up your ass that you don't see how not saying a single thing about legalizing domestic abuse, only mentioning it after someone calls you out on celebrating misdemeanors (& domestic abuse by extension) being legalized, & then when you DO back-pedal, saying you'd rather be able to smoke your pot & jaywalk & whatever the Hell else are misdemeanors, reflects on you.
Anything I didn't quote I think is just you making shit up.

Antichrist raises a good point. What are you going to do? Kill him? Detain him? Are you going to complain when YOU'RE arrested for breaking the law?

AA: The criminal justice system & police departments are far from perfect. We both know this. Thing is, they're still preferable to having lynch mobs and other forms of vigilantism, which multiply the issues we see in the current system, and add on a whole pile of new ones. I'm not saying that we shouldn't demand improvement, but veering into vigilantism isn't the answer.
