Because I'm a citizen of my current country of residence? Don't care. Get out. After all, I'm just treating you how you treat other people. Really? Strange, since I don't recall ever being that amusing. Don't get me wrong, I know I'm a funny guy and all, it's just my brand of humour doesn't stem from the strawman and impotent demands side of things, ya know?

You mean demands like "They should GTFO" without any ounce of compassion? 'Cause that's what I was going for. Which is why I say to you, GTFO. Because if you don't care about other people's situations, then I don't care about your situation. So what if you're citizen? I'm telling you to GTFO. Drop everything. Keep nothing. Receive no compensation for the taxes you paid. Goodbye.

After all, a place in a college/university going to an illegal is a place that is denied to a legal student. Hardly seems fair if you ask me. As for GTFO, if you can't see why it doesn't really apply to a natural born citizen of a country in the same way it applies to an illegal, than um... Well, just learn the difference between a citizen and an illegal before commenting on immigration related issues before you royally embarrass yourself.

Makes sense to me. As long as there are citizens and legal immigrants who can't go to uni due to lack of financial assistance, well... fuck the illegals. Charity begins at home and all that.

Well, just learn the difference between a citizen and an illegal before commenting on immigration related issues before you royally embarrass yourself. Oh, I know the difference. That being said, the difference means squat to me. Your response to someone who doesn't realize they're an illegal immigrant is simply "Oh well, too bad, GTFO" Besides, they're not "illegals". They're "illegal immigrants." Sorta the same as the difference between an "down syndrome kid" and "a kid with down syndrome." To clarify the difference. So, basically, you want the reason why I want you to GTFO when you're a 'legal citizen?' Simply put, I have decided you are less than human and thus not worthy of being an American citizen, because your actions have treated others as such. As such, kindly leave America. Forever. Hope you know how to speak Spanish.

As far as I can see the DREAM Act can only benefit the US. Moreover it is simply allowing private scholarships. No State money being spent as far as I can see. To improve the education and workforce of the US.
You'd have to be stupid, petty and Xenophopic not to get on board with the Dream Act.

Receive no compensation for the taxes you paid. Goodbye. Sorry to snip that part, but the taxes go to public services, which they were using/able to use while they were in the country illegally. Would you want to receive compensation for emigrating? I'd have more sympathy for the latter. Carry on! Share? As far as I can see the DREAM Act can only benefit the US. Moreover it is simply allowing private scholarships. No State money being spent as far as I can see. To improve the education and workforce of the US. I'd agree that it's beneficial, but then I think of the legal citizens who are turned down in favor of the illegal immigrants. That makes it unfavorable to me.

Simply put, I have decided you are less than human and thus not worthy of being an American citizen, because your actions have treated others as such. As such, kindly leave America. Forever. Hope you know how to speak Spanish. There's a few things you must understand. Firstly, that nobody but citizens and visa holders have a right to stay in any country, America included. Secondly, obtaining citizenship or a visa is not an inherent right, but entirely up to the government's immigration policy. Thirdly, not even the government has the power to exile natural-born citizens and as such you most certainly don't, nor are you qualified to tell me what species I'm not for that matter. Fourthly, I'm not American, nor do I reside in America (and ironically if I were to follow your demands I would be an illegal in Mexico or wherever and likely end up deported back to Australia, and rightly so). So in short, come up with a logical argument rather than this bleeding heart nonsense if you want me to take you seriously. Though if you want to keep embarrassing yourself, do feel free. I must say it's quite hilarious.

Except it isn't necessarily favouring them at the expense of legal citizens what it does is provide the ability for private donors to benefit them. Besides which it seems to me that illegal immigrants and more particularly the children of illegal immigrants - Because that is what we are really talking about here - the CHILDREN of illegal immigrants will work and pay taxes into the community.
As for use of services I suspect and have read studies before which show that illegal immigrants tend to put more into the system than they take out -partly because they are concerned about using public services. Unlike for instance US Corporations who pay less tax than illegal immigrants.
Anyway I find it all too old testament to visit the sins of the father (and mother) upon the child.

The only jobs anyone wants to hire illegals for are menial, unskilled jobs where they can pay them next to nothing. When it comes to more skilled work, it's no longer worth the legal risks to hire illegals so those jobs will go to legals. As such, educated illegals are about as useful economically as tanker ship in the middle of the Simpson Desert.
