david sabridge or "darckseraph" went into a coma on January 30 and died on march 14 as a result of an accident involving his insulin. I don't like talking about this, but it seems like some of you are curious as to why he's gone.
You might want to know because he always talked about you, and he thought very highly of you. He said that you proved him right when he said that the greatest minds in the world working together equal just as much scum as anyone else, and I know that sounds awful but it gave him great comfort because he always liked the idea that everyone was, at their core, the exact same as each other. He said you were perfect examples of humanity, he let you form an opinion of him, a remarkably fake one and once you had that opinion you defended it to the last and blamed others for you refusing to change that opinion, like a good human should.
He didn't die peacefully. While he was awake he was frantically asking me to "make him say sorry, he never said sorry" but he never said who he was talking about, sometimes he broke down lamenting that he'd made a mistake. He always hated mistakes. his time in hospital was punctuated by a series of emergencies. He never was in good health.
I know this may sound emotionless, but I'm trying to avoid feeling emotion right now. He was wrong about a lot of aspects of human nature but he was right when he said that emotion serves only to cloud judgement.
Here's to "darckseraph". his life was a series of calculating experiments on human nature, which he never understood but knew how to manipulate. I wish he'd produced something substantial on the subject, which was his dream, but he died too young for that.

Ahh, damn. So that is the story on Darck's absence. You have my condolences.
It is always a shame when someone dies young.

He's dead?
FSTDT felt very lonely when he disappeared, but now that he's dead, it feels ten times more empty. RIP, darckseraph. You are missed.

If there is a Heaven, crap on the throneroom floor once a day until God answers some questions.
If there is a Hell, take over and save me a place.

Wow, that's just really shocking. It's gonna feel so empty without Darck. I'm really sorry about how he died, I wish it could have been more peaceful. Rest in peace darckseraph.

That is too bad. I didn't become really active here before he stopped posting, but from what I caught he was a good guy. My condolences.

Those two bits (particularly the second) and darckseraph logging into his YouTube account in the last hour ( www.youtube.com/user/darckseraph ) suggest that he is not dead. Hey There Cthulhu and other things being in his favourite videos confirm who it is. In case the profile information is altered later: Posting his current favourite games in February www.youtube.com/watch?v=86t9P7oEPqQ helps confirms that it's not just someone else that logged in an hour ago with his account.

Hmmm, good point, I can imagine Darck doing this as a belated April Fools, and the "make him say sorry" COULD have been an attempt at forcing sentimentality out of Red. But I'm not going to commit to this theory because I will feel so fucking guilty if it isn't a joke.

Posting his current favourite games in February www.youtube.com/watch?v=86t9P7oEPqQ helps confirms that it's not just someone else that logged in an hour ago with his account. Umm, that video is over a year old. 11 February 2008, not 2009. Last video posted of his chronologically was December 2008. Couldn't the login be the doing of the person in order to spread the news to whoever Darck knew on Youtube? So far, everything checks out (at least with dates and stuff).

I'm starting to doubt this, I mean Darck was a troll, and this would make an excellently executed troll, but I still don't like to say anything certain yet.

The video took up the main place on the page, so I thought it meant it was the most recent one (I know very little about YouTube). I don't see where it shows that account making any comments or anything happening on YouTube. At least, not yet. Do you know if it's possible to find them?
