23 years ago (give or take a year), when I was still fairly young, I was able to see Def Leppard (main attraction) along with either Winger or Warrant. I forget which, but it was one of those hair-metal groups with a name beginning with W (not Whitesnake; I'd have remembered a singer like David Coverdale). Leppard, as always, kicked all kinds of ass. ;D Nowadays, though, with me stuck in Wyoming, I don't have opportunities like that any more.

I saw AC/DC in 2001. They had just released an album and went on a world tour surprisingly stopping by at Helsinki.
Saw Metallica in 2004 (St. Anger world tour). I don't really like their music anymore but they were good live.
2004 or 2005 went to see Rotten Sound. With Sotajumala and Defleshed as warm-up bands.
Tuska Open Air 2005: Apocalyptica, Finntroll, Dummy Burger, Testament, Deathchain, Amoral, Rotten Sound and Ajattara. It was fun.
Tuska Open Air 2008: Slayer (lame), Carcass (meh), Amon Amarth (rocked), Behemoth (the pure awesomeness almost killed me), Nile (kicked ass), Noxa (pretty good), Sotajumala (pretty good) and Dying Fetus (awesome). I've been looking at the band list of this year's Tuska and I'm not impressed. 3 days, 4 decent bands.
I'll add some vids when I learn how to do it.

Metallica is (are?) coming to the twin cities in October, I believe; I would love to see them, but maybe I'll try to win tickets so I don't actually have to pay for it, just to spite them. ;D

I was planning on seeing Flight of the Conchords when they came to Chicago, but that never happened. I have seen my brother's three different bands and all the other bands at his concerts, one of which was Ryan's Hope. You guys have probably never heard of them, but they have become relatively successful.
I am really not a music person. Why am I posting in this topic? I have no idea
EDIT: Video

Not in any kind fo order:
Whitesnake Def Leppard Black Stone Cherry Alice Cooper Motorhead Joan Jett Dio Pain Nightwish Judas Priest Megadeth Testament Queen
Some of these were only in a support capacity. EG Motorhead and Joan Jett were supporting Alice Cooper.
Will soon be seeing AC/DC and I will make it to an Iron Maiden gig before I die.
Unfortunately most of the bands I really want to see never come to the UK or even the RoI. That's what you get for liking mostly obscure European bands.

I almost went to see Beck once, but for some reason ended up not going. I think my friend never called me back, and then we decided to go see Aerosmith instead.

Opeth x2 Ensiferum Tyr Turisas Eluveitie Kamelot Edguy Nightwish Paradise Lost Bruce Springsteen Foo Fighters
Bands I'm not a very big fan of:
Bon Jovi x2 (my friend's a HUGE fan. I'm the only one with a drivers license, and I like concerts.) All-American Rejects x3 (see above.)
Had tickets to At The Gates, couldn't go because of surgery. Had tickets to Amon Amarth and Ensiferum, couldn't go due to uncontrollable puking. Has tix to Nightwish, twice, and BOTH NYC shows got canceled. Glad I saw them once.
