So I saw Mindless Self Indulgence tonight. It was fantastic, such a shame I had to wait 9 years to see them live.

The Misfits at Barrymore's, Ottawa.
Hundreds of friends, cheap-as-spit booze and stage-side location made it a night to remember.

Uh, I don't know if these count, but I saw Weird Al live, once, and, uh... George Carlin. Oh, yeah, and one summer vacation the whole family went to a Boyz II Men concert. (Don't ask.)

I've gone to Coachella, Rock the Bells and Projekt Revolution in '07 and '08, Crue Fest and All Points West '08 and seen the Beastie Boys, Inner Party System, The Bravery, American Hi-FI and Bowling For Soup at smaller venues.
I want to go to Rock the Bells and All Points West this year

I'm going to the DC101 Chili Cook Off next month. There will be a bunch of bands there, but I'm mainly interested in the Offspring.
I'm also trying to go see Jane's Addiction and Nine Inch Nails in June. I hope it all works out.

Let me see if I can remember all of them. I didn't start going to concerts until I was twenty years old, and I'm thirty now, but I still haven't been to all that many.
First one: Alanis Morissette in March of 1999 I've also seen:
Garbage (three times, if you count opening acts as well) No Doubt Sleater-Kinney Arctic Monkeys Arcade Fire The New Pornographers Beirut Spoon (pics of that can be seen at flickr.com/mysticalchicken)
If free shows count: Old 97's Cold War Kids (both at Music Millennium, a record store in Portland)
and I have a ticket to see Neko Case on June 6th. :DDDD can't wait.
I'm pretty sure I've been to more shows, but I think some ticket stubs are missing from the Ziplock bag I keep them in along with my Game Boy games. I know my Spoon ticket stub is still in my jacket pocket, I'm not sure where my Beirut stub is. (YES I KEEP MY CONCERT TICKET STUBS I AM A HUGE DORK :P)

MysticalChicken how were the Arcade Fire live? They are a band I want to see.
Just remembered that I saw an acoustic show by Frank Black.
Also just got updated Wilco summer tour dates. They are playing Wilmington, of course when one of my favorite bands is playing 10 minutes from me I'm damn well gonna get tickets.

Bands I've seen include the following:
Moody Blues (my very first rock concert) Diesel Brave Combo Electric Light Orchestra Starship Styx (three times so far) Eddie Money Loverboy REO Speedwagon
...plus a couple more I don't recall (from one concert that had several bands).
Bands I still would love to see include Rush, Yes, Heart, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Sammy Hagar (and/or Van Halen with Sammy Hagar singing).

Jethro Tull - This was a relatively long time ago, and I was maybe 11. And they were awesome. Dream Theater (w/Into Eternity and Redemption) - Great show, they only stopped kicking ass for one song. Iron Maiden - Spectacular. That's all I need to say. Kamelot and Edguy - Edguy was fun, and Kamelot was god-like.
Oh, and this:
I saw the original band who made the song, not this guy, but this was the only good version of it I could find on YouTube.

Freakin' fantastic. I almost didn't get to go, as they sold out within like an hour or two, but I got my ticket at face value from a guy who couldn't go to the show. The seats (which were assigned) were about in the middle-ish row, but for a few songs the people who were in the middle and back rows were able to get out and go to the front near the stage until stupid security made us go back to our seats. > I didn't really care for the opening act, though. Now I can't remember their name but I think they started with an E.

I didn't really care for the opening act, though. Now I can't remember their name but I think they started with an E. Electrelane? I know nothing about Arcade Fire, but I looked on their website and that was the only opening act they've played with that starts with an E. I wonder if Arcade Fire is any good? *Watches the "Rebellion (Lies)" video* Interesting. It sounds like the Decemberists wanted to make a post-rock song, except then some record label exec didn't like it and forced them to make it into an indie pop/rock tune. And when I say that, I'm not insulting Arcade Fire, I'm trying to describe their mix of sounds. So, to answer my own question, I don't really have any problem with them, but it's not my type of music.

Still, considering you have members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor/Thee Silver Mount Zion playing on Wake Up (recorded in Thee Hotel2Tango where Constellation Records resides), and you have members plucked from Bell Orchestre, not surprising.

Oh, I forgot about this one. Does it still count if I sat in my car and listened? Kansas came to my college town, but I couldn't get anyone to go with me, nor did I ever find out how much tickets were. It was an outdoor concert, so I parked behind the stage and sat in my car and listened. ;D
I would love to see Ozzy Osbourne live some time also.
