Smurfette, number 5 is probably due to the Mormonism, at least the naming conventions. Either that or Meyers is a vapid twit.

3. Jacob is probably one of the best characters, but this is negated when he imprints on an infant. He was a better love interest until he was turned into some kind of physically abusive prick that made Daddy Swan proud.

It's like Meyer realized that Jacob was a better love interest, and promptly derailed his character. ETA: Also, possible instilled racism on the part of Meyer, considering how Mormons see Native Americans.

Because Eric Cantor>lack of altruism>Ayn Rand>untalented hack writers>Stephanie Meyer>Twilight.

I blame Nappy for first mentioning Ayn Rand.

You could probably base an entire sociological study on the FSTDT forum's weird cultural tangents at times. That said, Ayn Rand is a far more irritating hack-writer than Meyer ever will become, if only because most Randian followers don't grow out of that phase, they get worse.

Ayn Rand>untalented hack writers That's one of the things I truly love about Randroidism. In a truly capitalist world, based entirely on the rational merit of things, she wouldd never have sold a book.

The same way I explain everything bad. God hates X.
X being literature.
