Here, let me give you some advice, LHM.
You want to bring awareness to the issue? Then bring awareness to the issue! Don't be sanctimonious about it, though, or you're gonna get people pissed at you.
If, on the 4th of July, you had simply posted about the event that happened, in a topic that said "Native Americans attacked by Racists" then guess what?
We would have reacted with shock and horror, we would have been in agreement, no argument (aside from you breaking the rule due to not knowing about it)
But no. Instead, you chose this. You essentially said "Yeah, while you Americans are celebrating the 4th of July, stuff is happening. You should feel bad!"
Remember, how you deliver a message is often as important, if not more than, the message that is being delivered.

Yes, there's corruption and racism and everything else. But the way you deliver your message isn't doing your cause any favors. At fucking all. It's like vandalizing a billboard to point out the corruption in the mayor's office. It makes you look like an immature brat who can't put two brain cells together to make a case for his cause. Instead he does the opposite and makes himself look like a jackass to boot.
If you had given your thread a better title than we wouldn't have had this 8 page discussion about why what you did was wrong. Well except the part about you arguing over the rules and such. That probably still would have happened.
