Just saw this on "Really, Fox News?": Proof that FOX News operates in an entirely different dimension.

I just don't get WHY she seems bound and determined to jam herself into public service. She is utterly unsuited to it in terms of temperament, ambition, ability, intuition, or desire. She seems to desperately crave public approval and lusts after public power, but is at the same time utterly disinterested in the authority, responsibility, or day-to-day work that such a position would entail. She is a mystery to me. If she was even 1/8th as intelligent as her worshipers believe she is, she would realize that public service is the LAST career she should ever consider in terms of her own desires, skills, and aptitude. Watching her doggedly pursue public office is like watching the stereotypical dumb-jock endlessly try to get elected as the President of the Chess Club. She doesn't even LIKE the game, so I am mystified why she seems so desperate to play. She seems perfectly suited to where she is right now. A cliche talking head on Fox News. For her own sanity, not to mention ours, someone should quietly suggest she just stay there. I don't think she's really trying to jam herself in though. She seems more like she's doing all this for the money. Part of why I think she won't run in 2012. She's making too much money to take a monetary cut for the public. She's just trying to cash in on a brand name. I suspect, anyway.

Fox News has been caught out in the past pre-writing headlines.

Well, the theatres were packed. It's just that those weren't the theatres that were screening the Palin biopic.

Just saw this on "Really, Fox News?": I caught wind of trolls accusing liberals of lying and saying the theaters were packed. Now I know why they say so.

I caught wind of trolls accusing liberals of lying and saying the theaters were packed. Now I know why they say so. On a tangent, I always find it amusing when Fox fans respond to criticism by screaming about how "MSNBC is biased to the left!", as if every single liberal on the planet (yes, the planet, not just Americans) is a dedicated MSNBC fan. Not that I'm equivocating the two stations in anything but the most superficial of ways. Both have a political bias, but only one seems to bother with crucial things like fact-checking and not hiring Glenn Beck.

Not that I'm equivocating the two stations in anything but the most superficial of ways. Both have a political bias, but only one seems to bother with crucial things like fact-checking and not hiring Glenn Beck. Just to point out, MSNBC ran with the ACORN "scandal" and the edited footage without any real research, just like the rest of the liberal media. Hell, while their commentary section may not have gone with it, the news portion of MSNBC was hot on the heels of the resignation of what's her name over her "Racist" speech about "not wanting to give help to white farmers." I can't remember the name of the woman, dammit. The overarching point is that MSNBC frequently does not do their homework, and for any left-leaning bias will run with the same false stories from Fox against "their" interests. And as for hiring Beck, they've hired some conservative nutters before, just never the Godwin's Law of conservative nutters. I think if MSNBC has any point over Fox, it's less about research and more about not actively lying and attempting to shape the political landscape.

I can't remember the name of the woman, dammit. Shirley Sherrod Yes it is odd how conservative the liberal media is. When they fired Phil Donahue, they replaced him with Michael Savage who makes Beck seem sane by comparison. It's all a marketing ploy. MSNBC knows that liberals will still tune in for the liberal pundit shows even if they ignore the news casts. And the pundit shows are where the advertising dollars are.
