PETA Launches and "Animal Friendly" Porn SiteTo paraphrase Cait (I think), if you have to give people free porn for them to pay attention to your cause, you need to rethink your cause. Not to mention it sounds like it's basically a screamer, which is more likely to turn people off of whatever you're trying to sell them on.

I think the part that bugs me the most about this, is that out there somewhere on the internet (probably orbiting around 4chan) will be people who will completely get off on images of porn and animal cruelty together.
I think it was a SMBC comic that once said that hell cannot ever work because whatever torture is used, there will be someone on earth who has a fetish for that.

Not just that, but the idea that just watching porn somehow objectifies women and thus watching it makes you a misogynist. By the same logic watching Arnold Schwarzenegger movies can only mean you think Austrians exist only to entertain you with action movies. Also, nobody seems to accuse it of objectifying men, despite the fact there's plenty of porn starring shlong-owners. |
