This. Now when you say you're a supporter of animal rights people think you mean you support chickens getting voting rights.
Anyway, I live on a farm, and we eat our animals. The guy we pay to slaughter them is against cruelty, and says he'd fire any man he saw causing an animal unnecessary pain would be fired immediately.
As for the men slaughtering animals from factory farms, I'd laugh if a cow went insane and killed them all horribly, according to some videos I've seen. They'll hack off hooves and horns or whatever they can grab before killing the cow.
