I got banned for opposing torturing (de facto) prisoners of war with the same techniques that led to the Japanese being tried for war crimes.
I have no doubt most of the rapturites are just sad people honestly deluded but the mods over there are evil bastards to a man. Not one that I've seen has an iota of integrity. Way to sell your death cult, charlatans every last one of you,. A bit below Mormons and a little above scientologists as far as I can tell.

RRvisitor, It would seem that your position, RR only bans atheists, has been shown to be both faulty and in error. Care to provide any explaniation? *cough*probablyaflybytroll*cough*

Buzzardhut is still the biggest ass I have ever encountered on the Internet. Seems like his banhammer powers went to his head.

I've put a lot of thought into where my religion (Christianity) went wrong in the whole not-being-evil department. My best guess, it was around the time we started burning the Gnostic gospels. Jesus wept.

Don't you find it odd that the loving, tolerant Christians of RR ban people for holding different opinions and being of different faiths and believing in scientific facts when FSTDT doesn't? Only things you get banned for here are flaming in the non-F&B sections and spamming.

Only things you get banned for here are flaming in the non-F&B sections and spamming. That's the single most important reason I post here and have never bothered or even thought about signing up at RR. While a lot of you here don't share my beliefs, at least you guys are open to debate and don't flex the banhammer muscle when someone disagrees. RR, on the other hand, is the Rush Limbaugh Show over the Internet in the sense that the sheep that go there all happen to share the same opinion on all topics. That, and we don't claim to be good people but wish horrible fates on others.

Yeah but that's wishing a horrible fate on a horrible man.
Ironbite-which is nothing with what's going to happen to Phelps once his current deal expires with the reaper.

You've forgotten one of the fundamental principals of Christianity; the Bible's laws only apply when dealing with other Christians. The homos and Musleems are to be dealt with by the God-sent Republicans.
And, quite frankly, no one with any basic knowledge of the respiratory system could or would truthfully say water-boarding is not torture.

People use Christianity as a means for bigotry and idiocy, barn none. Hardly any of them read any part of the the bible that isn't directly related to a reason for them to hate something. It's an effing crutch--"I can hate these person because the Bible says you shouldn't idolize false prophets! I can wish harm on these people because they don't believe what I believe!"
Of course waterboarding is torture. Those people who said they would gladly be waterboarded only say it because they never expect their bluff to be called. They ignore the fact that Americans were waterboarded and we CALLED IT TORTURE.
The most annoying and maddening thing about the GOP and fundies is the "yeah, but that was them, and this is US, it's different" mentality. It's not fucking different. Torture is fucking torture, point blank fucking period. We've called it a crime in the past and it's a crime now. They know it's fucking torture, as well--the only thing the GOP and their followers have right now is to be anti-common sense and to be opposite of what anyone the least bit left of center happens to be.
It's not about being a good human being with a functioning brain, it's about forcing their ideals down our collective throats and winning elections. Fucking sickening bullshit.

Essentially squirt saline up your nose? I have trouble convincing my body I'm not going to die doing that. Controlled circumstances standing over my sink, doing it to myself.

It helps you cope with the brainwrong if you stop regarding Rapture Ready as a discussion forum, and view it more as the circle-jerk it actually amounts to.
