What amazes me is that these small countries still have even smaller regions insisting that they are culturally different when their entire country has less land area than Texas. Am I missing something here? An appreciation that the rest of the world is not America, perhaps? What! Still?! Dammit, you guys, what is the fucking hold up?

Regards to the thread title...NOPE.avi
Spaniards are just italian untermensch with hydrocephalus and surgically implanted camels' tongues.
It'd be a kindness if the asteroid impact I have planned for rome splintered a bit and a fragment landed in Madrid.

Am I missing something here? Population density, longer & very different history, different ideas about nationalism/national unity, etc.

some men are apparently insecure in their masculinity and have to prove it with outrageous stunts. Well they could do what the Minoans did and jump OVER the bull. I admit though, those tight pants matadors wear are hot. Is it wrong that's where my brain went? and just because I found this....

I admit though, those tight pants matadors wear are hot. Is it wrong that's where my brain went? Point of order... while the Minoans certainly watched bull leaping, whether it was them that did it or mainland Greeks (hence Minotaur/Theseus legends) shipped in for the purpose is a matter of scholarly debate. Either way, I think watching unarmed people interacting with an unarmed bull like that would be much more reqarding than a tooled up guy with a sword killing a beastie that's already weakened from loss of blood with its major muscle groups cut.

No. They were the first country to legalise homosexuality. Back in the 19th century.
