Man, my school's on the list.
Why you'd bother giving it to one of the top biological research institutions in the world is beyond me, though.

If this isn't illegal, it certainly should be. I'm going to email a few of these schools.

Wonderful. I'm glad they have the money to do this shit rather than something that, you know, actually helps people, as their savior asked and demonstrated

"Yeah! That'll show those darn evolutionists! I've changed a fuckload of the entire book and am now going to sell it like the cheap piece of shit I am! Let's use millions of dollars to send it to a bunch of Universities across the country! All those starving children in Africa don't need any donations or aid, they probably brought it upon themselves.

If this isn't illegal, it certainly should be. I'm going to email a few of these schools. Why should it be illegal? Like they said, the university allows distribution of non-commercial literature anywhere on campus. Also, Origin of Species is public domain. As regrettable as it is, they have the right. Rather than trying to censor them, we should counter with our own campaign. For instance, flyers being handed out pointing out the flaws in Creationism, especially those suggested by Ray Comfort himself. Or fliers pointing out the flaws in his preface (if it's available online.) Kirk's right, show the students both sides of the argument, and let them decide for themselves. When he and Ray cry persecution, show them their own video, with Kirk saying this. Marc

Man, my school's on the list. Why you'd bother giving it to one of the top biological research institutions in the world is beyond me, though. That's EXACTLY why they chose it. Also, you're lucky. Neither my school nor ANY of my friends' schools are on the list. Edit: Wait, I do have a friend at the University of Chicago, but he's probably a creationist himself... but of the Muslim variety, so maybe he could still be persuaded to screw with Comfort. Hmm.
