We shouldn't be involved in Libya.

Next time remember to link to both of your articles (first one is from here, second one is from here, for those that wish to know), and don't post the whole article. Not only is this against The Rules, it is also violates copyright laws.
I hate having to give an Official Warning as a forum welcome, but there are rules you need to acquaint yourself with.
[ETA] And yes, you also need to provide some commentary about your own thoughts or questions on the articles. This is so that a discussion can be properly started (but do not just say "discuss" or similar).[/b]

Any way, what do yall think about it? I think most people expected it, to be honest. It doesn't make Gaddafi's force any better of course.

So why are we supporting them?

I think its a bit of a dilemna, there is more reason to get involved in Syria and Libya than there was to get involved in Iraq. But I think it is all fairly hypothetical anyway because the involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan pretty much precludes the US being involved elsewhere.
Perhaps diplomacy offers a solution?

If anything there's less of a reason to go into Libya.

I was merely stating that both sides have equally reprehensible things about them.
As an aside from one of the article:
So God is a murderer. Well fundie Christians in American already told us that he was, now fundie Muslims are confirming it. Also, why did he attack the country the largest Islamic population in 2004? lol, I don't know why fundies who make these arguments since it makes their God look bad.

I don't know setting aside claims about Weapons of Mass Destruction - at least in Libya there is an active movement for reform which is being violently suppressed. But as I said, its fairly hypothetical. US involvement will be no more than the occassional bombing and supplying weapons if that.
And you know the US has been supplying weapons to the middle east and other areas for a long time.
