Funnily enough, I don't accept mental health advocacy from people who think it's demonic possession.

I don't know if I posted this here or not, but if I did it was at least 100 pages ago and this is my favorite sign ever. I was the one who put that on the TVTropes Critical Research Failure page. I couldn't think of anything more fitting to go there, and apparently neither can anyone else.

I have a writing blog on LJ. The main feature is a series of detailed commentaries on bad fanfic, mostly Harry Potter, which I use as a starting point to examine what makes for good and bad writing in general. szaleniec1000.livejournal.com/

It's an educational theme park. Also. Jesusland should include Alberta. Whenever Jesusland is inaugurated, I will find some way to fire Alberta into it with a giant cannon. Seriously. I'm ashamed and embarrassed at times to have been born in that province. To the rest of Canada, I'm terribly sorry my birth-province foisted Harper off on the rest of you. There's a reason why I ran like doom as far away west as possible from it as soon as I hit majority. Some versions of the Jesusland map do indeed put Alberta in Jesusland.

Cracked did have an article that said why a zombie apocalypse is possible. Was this the list of real things that can actually zombify you, or did I imagine that?

He doesn't sound very Glaswegian, I must say. Can we set an import tariff on preachers? Funny as hell, the video camera man sucks though but so worth the watch. I don't know, there was a certain naff charm to the recording. Especially the title card being a literal card.

The Witcher 2 rocks so far. It's not without its bugs and could stand to be optimised a bit, but it's still very playable.

You know, the whole point of the villain is to be a figure to which you can point and say "Don't be like that." You could play a video game where the villain is a satanic homosexual and the hero is a godly paladin, and parents will STILL freak out because "Oh my god, it's encouraging satanism and homosexuality!" It's like those fuckwits who moaned about Voldemort's might makes right philosophy. He's the villain!

Well, where would history be without a band of plucky Tim Traveller expies rescuing random Mexicans from 1938 Germany? ETA: that really is a sentence I never thought I'd type.

My favourite argument was the one about how our electoral system has been unchanged for hundreds of years. Oh really?

The great paradox of anti-abortion arguments is that they apparently want people they consider to be bad people - because only bad people would even consider having an abortion, after all - to reproduce more.

The legal contract is the point of marriage. That the role of formalising it often falls to religious organisations doesn't make it an inherently religious concept.

The epic facepalms when their legal department found out about this can only be imagined.
